About Maya

Originally hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Maya is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and a minor in Creative Writing, c/o 2022.

A true multi-hyphenate based in NYC, Maya is a lover of science fiction, genre-bending music (currently jungle D&B), pilates, prose, visual arts, and further promoting diverse and equitable creative spaces.

Maya will be performing some of your favorite pop hits in “Girly Pop Dinner” at the Reverie Room on Friday, November 21st at 7pm! Tickets come with your own girl dinner: a Caesar salad, fries, and a soft drink! And if Jazz Age classics and Broadway standards are more your speed, Maya will also be joining a stacked cast in “Fascinating Rhythm” at the Kaufman Music Center on Monday, December 8th at 7:30pm.
